Salesforce
- Log in to Salesforce and find the client’s account
- Hover over the ‘Websites’ tab above ‘Account Detail’ and click the ‘New Website’ button
- Change the record type of full website to ‘Contact Website’ and click the ‘Continue’ button
- Copy the data from the ‘Account Name’ field into the ‘Website Name’ field
- Click the ‘Save’ button at the top or bottom of the page
WordPress
- Login to the network admin for your country (either Australia, United Kingdom or United States)
- Hover over ‘My Sites’ in the admin bar and click ‘Network Admin’, followed by ‘Sites’
- On the left hand side menu select ‘NS Cloner’, followed by ‘NS Cloner’
- Under the heading ‘Select Source’, select ‘Coming Soon Template’ from the drop down menu
- Under the heading ‘Create New Site’ give the site the title of ‘Contact [firm name]’ and the URL of ‘contact-firm-name’
- Click the mid green ‘Clone’ button at the bottom of the page
- Once the page has cloned, click the staging URL of the new site (‘contact-firm-name.leapwp./com/com.au/co.uk) to navigate towards the new site)
- Once you’re in the Dashboard of the new site, hover over ‘Settings’ in the left hand side menu and in the sub menu click ‘Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode’
- Under the heading ‘Page Settings’, upload the client’s logo if they have provided one to us, if they haven’t provided a logo just enter the firm name into the Headline field
- In the Message field enter the details that the client has provided to us
- When you’re done, click the ‘Save All Changes’ button either at the top or bottom of the page on the left hand side
- Once you have saved, click on the ‘Live Preview’ tab below the heading ‘Coming Soon Page & Maintenance Mode by SeedProd’ to make sure everthing looks fine
Salesforce
- Go to the client’s Contact Site record
- Edit the record by clicking the ‘Edit’ button at the top of the page
- Change the ‘Website Status’ field from ‘Requested’ to ‘Ready to Connect’
- In the ‘WordPress URL’ field, insert the URL to the page you have just created
- In the ‘Website Consultant’ field, insert your name
- In the ‘Website Delivered’ field, add the date of delivery
- Tick the ‘Using Staging Domain’ checkbox
- Click the ‘Save’ button either at the top or bottom of the record
- Send the primary contact 007 – Contact Website Delivery
Manifestly
- Login to your Manifestly account
- Click the ‘New Checklist Run’ button at the top right of the page and select the template ‘Domain Connection (Contact Site)’
- Name the checklist run the name of the firm
- Under ‘Participants on this checklist’ select the IT coach for your country and unselect yourself
